Uv Air Is It OK To Take A 3-day Old Baby Outside To Get Some Fresh Air And UV Rays?

Is it OK to take a 3-day old baby outside to get some fresh air and UV rays? - uv air

Our baby has her first appointment (except for tomorrow when I still in the hospital) with the pediatrician. We have found very slight yellowing around the eyes and asked, until we have our appointment with the doctor tomorrow, in order, our baby would have some indirect exposure to sunlight to prevent try to get jaundice? Or should we wait until tomorrow to see what the doctor?

Our baby to term, healthy, 8 + baby (pounds if that makes any difference).

Thank you!

This is perfect, as long as the baby is protected from direct sunlight (not fine) with on a blanket in the sun without shade. The fresh air will do well at all so I think it's a great idea

Or is an alternative, put it in her crib or stroller, but a nice place in front of the sunny window. My daughter developed jaundice while some still in the hospital and that's what he did for them. So they put in front of the window of my room in the hospital, where children and she was filtered sunlight, and therefore no further treatment is necessary.

Even without his jaundice, do no harm to the sun and fresh air!

Congratulations on your new baby, make me as clucky!

You can give your baby to indirect sunlight, as he / she is in the house near the window. Our baby was a slight yellowing of the eyes when the nurse told us to keep it open in the window without weighing small bright shades of color. Your juandice evacuated a few days.

Of course! Fresh air is good for them (and you), is 10 minutes her head well. My husband and I have our small outboard engines, and that led to his house, is good for MS, especially if signs of jaundice, but your doctor will inform, advise what to do.

You're probably right, but it might decrease, but only for 5 minutes or less. My baby had a little jaundice and had to sit outside in the ass and for a while min no longer than 10. 5 on each side.

Absolutely. I want to be short, direct sunlight, maybe 15 minutes at a stretch. Sit in the shade a little, have a few UV shadow.

The sun will help the jaundice, and held in a facility, a good diet to ensure that you are doing enough. Sunlight is good only for a short time.

Yes it is. Would not the baby outdoors during the opening times of 12-3, because that is when the sun is strongest.

Yes! Take it for a short time in the sun. To do a couple of minutes and no danger of sunburn or excessive heat.

I would certainly indirect sunlight as much as possible before we have made, and the doctor immediately became nervous and told us we had to take him to a hospital for phototherapy and was so panicked! It bothers me was the miserable three days of my life. This is how long it was under the lights. Not even at home for a night before she was taken to hospital. If we have another, OMG I'm going to do everything in my power to damn about his biliruben!
Edit: No, unfortunately not even give us the possibility of indirect sunlight, even for a few hours. When I go back in due time, I would say to reassure myself of my past and will not be used in the hanging was a doctor. Other mothers had children with the same account, and let the sun do the job. I remember being so sad that we hoped that our first night at home, then it was destroyed during the three nights.
